The global leader in certifying youth achievements

For 14 to 25 year olds

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a way of acquiring skills for the future in an informal way. It is a prestigious certification recognized in the working and university world.

Through developing transferable skills, increasing fitness levels, cultivating a sense of adventure and volunteering in their community. The Award operates in more than 130 countries and territories, helping to inspire millions of young people to take control of their choices; helping young people to find their purpose, their passion and their place in the world.

Rachel’s learning center is the only independent center in Italy to offer the “Duke of Edinburgh International award”

Because there is no better way to…

Try new things, meet new people, discover new talents, learn new skills, help the community, increase your confidence, make a difference, recognize your potential, increase your well-being and know that whatever life throws at you, you are ready

Why is it important for kids?

We firmly believe that participating in extra-curricular activities is an added value for young people. Through these experiences, which enrich and inspire them, children develop the skills and attitudes that they need in order to become more complete, confident and determined adults. Qualities that colleges, universities and employers are attracted to.

Doing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an investment in the future of our kids.

How long does it take?

To earn an Award, young people must show persistence, commitment and self-development skills.

DofE activities adapt to their school, university or work commitments, carrying them out in their personal time in a flexible way.

Participants can choose to include activities in the programme that they are already doing, for example sports, volunteering, arts, etc. Giving it a smart goal.

The Award consists of three levels and four sections and is designed to provide a balanced programme of personal development and challenge. Participants complete all four sections of each level to earn the Award. At the Gold level, participants must also complete a Gold residential project.
