ENGLISH SUMMER CAMP TEAM LEADER TRAINING COURSE

Training day for future Team Leaders/Assistant Team Leaders of the English Summer Camp 2022. We offer a work experience in a dynamic and passionate organization with training and teaching in contact with nature.

And above all an experience totally immersed in English!

The period of volunteering at our facility is worth as a number of hours for alternating school and work, or CAS.

SATURDAY 28 MAY – 09.00-13.00 and 14.00-17.00

COST?
€80 + VAT
(plus a further €80 if you want to complete a Certified first aid course whilst you are here)

SELECTION CRITERIA

Team Leaders. 16-18+ years

  • Positive evaluation at training day and first aid
  • Native English speaker or advanced level (C2)
  • Specific experience in at least one of the areas covered during the Summer Camp (Sports, Education, Arts and Crafts etc .. )
  • Team Leaders will be given the opportunity to stay in the structure during the week of Camp with food and lodging.

Assistant Team Leader 16+

  • Sufficient evaluation at Training Day and First Aid
  • Middle English level
  • If you have already been one of our campers or if you have a passion for teaching.

ATL’s will be welcome to sleep at our facilities at a contribution of € 15 + VAT per day.

  • Intro to RLC and how it works
  • Behaviour protocol
  • No phone zone
  • Basic safety for all activities
  • Basic Orienteering and Bushcraft
  • Den and Raft workshop
  • Pony safety
  • Tips for leisure with children
  • Games and Team Building Methods
  • Basic first aid for children
  • Typical day

WHAT TO BRING

  • Mask
  • Gloves
  • Small picnic mat (like the one for the shower, it only serves to sit on the lawn and have lunch)
  • A complete change of clothes.
  • Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, anti-mosquito spray and a hat.
  • NO PLASTIC PLEASE.
  • Sturdy shoes for riding (Trainers are fine) and long pants.
  • Notebook and pen
  • Water and packed lunch
