Rachel’s Learning Centre is an English outdoor education centre located in the hills of Castagneto Po, near Turin. The centre offers day and night camps full of fun and adventure in nature during the spring and summer months.

Cambridge English language courses are offered from September to May for learners of all levels.

The centre is also the only Independent Centre for the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) International Award in Italy. The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is the world’s most prestigious youth award in non formal education.

The centre offers adventure trips for schools based on sustainable community projects and nature-based programs. The aim is to empower young people, whilst creating relationships by giving them some digital detox time and reconnecting them with the great outdoors.

Outdoor education builds communities and culture, supports emotional and intellectual development, increases the connection between students, and develops positive associations between learning and the natural world. All our projects are based outdoors.

We believe that English is best learned by doing and it has been shown that learning in nature stimulates creativity and strengthens confidence, allowing our students to learn English in a stimulating and ‘real life’ environment.

With staff from a variety of educational backgrounds and programmes for all, our centre has been a ‘conveyer belt of adventure’, learning and creativity since 2003.
